- Chain of custody- accounting for every file from start to finish
- De-duplication- based on the MD5 hash algorithm (or electronic fingerprint)
- Data Culling and Filtering- eliminate non-responsive files based on criteria such as date, file extension and type, while filtering by key words which can be used to identify potentially responsive files
- Searching the Non Searchable – image files with no extracted text are OCR'd , indexed, and searched minimizing the chance that relevant documents get missed
- Reporting- detailed and comprehensive. Status Reports, Search Hit Reports, and Project Summaries track the number of documents processed, de-duplicated, filtered and delivered by media, volume, and custodian

IDM offers foreign language OCR and Machine Translation services so that selected foreign language documents can be converted to searchable format and converted to English for review.
